This Server Cabinet was a breakthrough for Compaq. Standing roughly six feet in height, a variety of new materials were utilized - including ribbed, perforated, powder coated, metallic metal and a branding badge. Extensive form studies were completed in order to execute the proper holding area for the Compaq logo. The result is a clean solution which enhances Compaq's image as well as meets strict design criteria such as cooling and visibility. Winner of The iF (Industrie Forum Design Hannover) Excellence in Design Award.
